MIGRANT CRISIS

Rio Grande River is a natural border between the United States and Mexico. From 1800 to 3000 Central American migrants cross the river daily in La Joya, Texas. Majority of migrants are women with kids or families seeking the asylum. The U.S Border Patrol works relentlessly day and night picking up migrants along the border where asylum seekers are smuggled by coyotes.

Pictures in this gallery are taken in Donna, McAllen, La Joya and Roma, Texas on April 2nd - April 10th, 2021.
